Motivation
We want to contribute our part to help the residents, tourists and politicians to realize that the history of the city of Potsdam is still alive and continues to develop. It drives us to contribute a more differentiated picture of Potsdam’s cultural landscape and to understand the city as a changing place with diverse cultural spaces and opportunities.
Our principles
We see ourselves as anti-discriminatory, anti-sexist and anti-racist. We are aware that the implementation of the project will contain our subjective evaluations, nevertheless we would like to present the problem as discursively as possible. We do not support projects that are not in line with our values.
Documentary
A documentary film offers the opportunity to vividly depict the opinions, experiences and different positions of protagonists from Potsdam's past and present subcultural scene. Furthermore, there is the possibility to include historical documents such as video or photo recordings. The format allows the results to be accessed online free of charge once the project is completed.
Protagonist in the film
The film will cover a broad spectrum of opinions. Therefore, in addition to representatives of alternative and subcultural projects and initiatives, representatives of the city will also have their say.
